The classic OSRS dicing game, hosted by the house. You and the host each plant five mithril seeds, one after the other, and the flowers that come up are your poker hand. Five of a kind beats four of a kind beats a full house, then three of a kind, two pair, one pair and a bust. A black or white flower in either hand, or the same hand on both sides, and you both replant.

How to play Flower Poker

  1. Set your bet and press Plant seeds. You plant first, then the host, one seed each in turn, until both rows have five flowers.
  2. Each flower is one of nine colours, at the game's own mithril seed odds: mixed, red, yellow, blue and orange are the commonest, then purple and assorted; black and white are rare.
  3. The hands, best first: five of a kind, four of a kind, full house, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, bust. Colours never break a tie, only the shape of the hand.
  4. A black or white flower in either hand means both of you replant five fresh seeds. So does the same hand on both sides.
  5. The better hand wins the round. A win pays 1.95x your bet.

About Flower Poker

Flower poker is how OSRS players gambled with mithril seeds in Falador Park for years: two players, ten seeds, and a hand of flowers each. Here the house hosts, the park is the real one out of the game cache, and the flowers are the game's own mithril seed flowers growing on the turf.

Because the player and the host plant from exactly the same odds and every black, white or tied planting is replanted, you win exactly half the rounds that are decided. The house edge is in the payout alone: 1.95x on a win, which is a 2.5% edge.

Every flower is drawn from the provably fair seed pair the moment you plant, before the first seed goes in. The Fairness panel lets you rotate the seed and rebuild every round yourself, flower by flower.

Flower Poker FAQ

What is Flower Poker?

The OSRS dicing game played with mithril seeds: you and the host each plant five, and the best poker hand of flower colours wins. A black or white flower, or the same hand on both sides, means a replant.

How do black and white flowers work?

Either one, in either hand, and both sides replant five fresh seeds. They are rare: black comes up 2 times in 1,001 and white once.

What does a win pay?

1.95x your bet. The player wins exactly half the decided rounds, so the house edge is 2.5%.

Is it provably fair?

Every round is generated from a server seed that is hashed and shown to you before you bet, combined with a client seed you control and an incrementing nonce. When you rotate your seed the old server seed is revealed, so you can replay every round it produced and confirm nothing changed after the fact.
