Five seats · one dealer · one shoe
This is blackjack the way it is played in a room rather than alone: you sit down at one of five seats, the betting window opens for everyone at once, and one dealer works the table from a single shoe. You see every other seat's cards as they land, and they see yours.
The rules are the same ones the single-player game uses: six decks, dealer stands on all 17s including soft, a blackjack returns 2.425x and other wins 1.95x, double on any two cards, one split per hand, and split aces take one card each. Twenty-one made from a split pair is twenty-one, not a blackjack, and is paid as such.
The shoe is committed before a card leaves it. Its hash is on the table while it is in play, and the seed is published the moment the shoe is retired, so any hand it dealt can be re-derived afterwards. The dealer's hole card is not held in your browser at any point - it does not leave the server until the dealer turns over.
The table runs on its own clock rather than on anybody's connection. If everyone closes the tab mid-hand, the dealer still plays it out and every seat is still paid, because your stake was taken when your bet went up.
No. Every seat plays its own hand against the dealer, exactly as if you were alone - what somebody else draws never changes what you are paid. Sharing the table means sharing the shoe, the clock and the dealer, not the outcome.
Your turn clock runs out and the hand stands where it is. It is never hit for you, and standing is the only thing the clock can ever do - so a dropped connection cannot bust a hand you would have kept. The dealer then plays and you are paid as normal.
One seat at a time. Holding two of five chairs at a five-seat table is not good for the room, so the seat is taken across all tables at once.
Every round is generated from a server seed that is hashed and shown to you before you bet, combined with a client seed you control and an incrementing nonce. When you rotate your seed the old server seed is revealed, so you can replay every round it produced and confirm nothing changed after the fact.
