Higher or lower · 97% return · cash out any time after a hit
The simplest chain game there is, played with Old School RuneScape gold. A card is dealt free. Call the next one higher or lower and the multiplier climbs on every hit; call it wrong and the stake is gone. Cash out whenever the number on the screen is one you would rather keep. Skips are free and unlimited, so you never have to guess on a seven.
Every card is drawn independently from a full deck of 52, so the deck never runs down and the odds on a button are always the printed fraction of 13 ranks. Suits are dealt because a card has to look like a card, and they mean nothing. Ace is low and King is high, which is the convention on every table of this kind.
Every correct call multiplies the running total by 0.97 divided by the chance of that call. That 0.97 is the whole house edge - 3% on every guess, exactly, and nowhere else. Some RuneScape sites run the same game at 0.94, which is a 6% edge on every card while claiming a higher return in the info tab. Ours is on the button.
The whole card stream of a round is fixed by your seed pair and nonce the instant you bet, before the first card is shown. Rotate your client seed to reveal the server seed and rebuild every card of every round yourself.
The next card is at least as high as this one. A tie wins for either call on any card from 2 to Queen. On an Ace or a King the call becomes strictly higher or strictly lower, and same rank is offered as its own bet.
No. A skip costs nothing and changes nothing about the odds, since every call is priced at its own true chance. It is there so you are never forced to call on a card you do not like.
Any time after your first correct call. The button shows exactly what you would take.
Every round is generated from a server seed that is hashed and shown to you before you bet, combined with a client seed you control and an incrementing nonce. When you rotate your seed the old server seed is revealed, so you can replay every round it produced and confirm nothing changed after the fact.
